David Cowans

Mechanical Engineer

David Cowans has more than 25 years’ experience of taking projects from R&D through prototype development to full production. This is complemented by expertise in design for manufacture and CAD skills.  David graduated from Newcastle Polytechnic with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering in 1982 and has since worked in the NEI Group and also in the machine tool, automotive, defence and white goods markets.
